Experience from the freediving course

During August 2023, I participated in the AqUA project, where I attended a freediving course organized in Rogoznica. With a smile, all my fears and prejudices related to freediving were instantly shattered. After the course, all freediving participants, along with the instructor, took part in supporting the exploration of the educational trail set underwater near the beach. It was a particular pleasure to observe even the children engaging in diving while analyzing the educational trail, approaching it with relaxation and fearlessness. I believe that AqUA is a exceptionally well-designed project that, in a relaxed and safe manner, introduces everyone, especially children, to the beauty of the underwater world. Sincere congratulations to the members of the diving club “Roniti se mora” for the dedication and enthusiasm they demonstrated during the implementation of this wonderful project. Warm recommendations for anyone planning to engage in any form of diving, snorkeling, or freediving. The project promoters welcomed everyone into the world beneath the surface with a simple and approachable manner. The location where the freediving course took place and the educational trail was set is excellently chosen! A peaceful, clean bay without excessive crowds, yet so close to the center of Rogoznica, Marina Frapa, and the Zmajevo oko lake.
